About Rosette
Rosette Chamber Concerts is the new chapter of a series founded in Washington, DC by pianist and Asheville native Jessica Honigberg. Her love of Baroque sounds began in childhood, when her father—on a dare—built a harpsichord from a kit. That early spark grew into a deeper fascination with the music and architecture of the Baroque period, which became the focus of her undergraduate studies at Yale.
In 2017, she began presenting renowned harpsichordists and other Baroque musicians in a salon series called 28 Chairs—named for the number of seats that fit in her Washington living room. The series quickly developed a devoted following, and from 2018 to 2024, several concerts were also presented in Asheville.
After returning full-time to Asheville in 2025, she founded Rosette to share the expressive depth, immediacy, and joy of live Baroque performance with audiences across Western North Carolina. Rosette welcomes both devoted listeners and those encountering this music for the first time.
